RYT-300 Advanced Yoga Teacher Training
Immerse yourself in the magic of the forest, realize your inner stillness and access the wisdom that resides deep in your heart and soul. Feel embraced by incredible natural beauty and the power of the elements, as we uncover the true teacher within.
Our Guatemala 300-hr YTT explores a fusion of the practice and philosophy of the mystical traditions of Yoga, Shamanism, Ancient Wisdom, Tantra and Sound Healing. Step into the ancient Wisdom of Self (Vidya), as we journey through the Shamanic Worlds, experiencing Yoga as union with the Divine.
Come join us and awaken the power of your spirit while living in a conscious living community overlooking the incredible Lake Atitlan, in the western highlands of Guatemala. Majestic mountain scenery and mystical lake serenity create a profound transformative energy deep within the soul. The simple living and permaculture principles of the Yoga Forest complement our studies, as we learn how to take our yoga off the mat and into our lives.

UPCOMING TRAINING DATES
november 2 - december 2, 2018
In addition to meeting the Yoga Alliance standards for teaching methodology, philosophy, yogic theory and special education, Kula Collective's RYT-300 hour YTT Courses focus on the expansion of our own sacred consciousness. By releasing the stories and holdings that no longer serve us, we create more space to see our gifts, our passions and the essence of who we are as teachers and beings on this path of Light and Oneness.
Once we have connected to the essence of the true teacher within, we are able to integrate the wisdom of our own yoga with the deep wisdom of earth medicine and shamanism, subtle energy systems and sound healing practices. The ancient knowledge of these teachings provide the tools and understandings for us as teachers to weave together authentically inspired intentions and themes into our practice and into our classes.
The Four Arts
Art of Practice
Art of Living
Art of Teaching
Art of Healing
Kula Collective teaches four Arts within each training program, dividing each day into a holistic exploration of Yoga and Ancient Wisdom. Each day begins with Art of Practice, first lead by facilitators, and later by student teachers. After breakfast together we begin Meditation and Art of Living as we explore the mind within each day and review Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, and different philosophical systems presented through the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads and various Tantras. After a refreshing lunch break, we dive into teaching methodology and practice in the Art of Teaching exploring advanced theme weaving, sequencing, alignment, adjustments, styles of yoga and yoga for special populations. Our late afternoon and evening sessions are guided by Art of Healing topics, journeying through the three worlds of the chakana as we spend each cycle focused in a different area;
Journey Through the Worlds of the Andean Chakana
Lower World - Advanced Teaching Methodology & Therapeutic Yoga
Deepen your personal practice and teaching of yoga throughout this cycle with advanced asana analysis and adjustment techniques. We will explore the art of teaching methodology in detail and creative sequencing.
Incorporating approaches to yoga teaching for special populations such as Pre-Natal and older populations, and we will learn how to diagnose and treat dis-ease in the body through therapeutic applications to yoga asana.
Together we co-create holistic classes from a variety of lineages, artistically weaved together with themes and intentions, encouraging advanced levels of awareness throughout the program.
Middle World - Ayurveda & Holistic Cleansing, Ancient Earth Wisdom & Yogic Philosophy
Focus on the expansion of our own sacred consciousness in the context of Ayurveda, Holistic Cleansing and Ancient Wisdom. Through understanding and releasing the stories and holdings that no longer serve us, we create more space to see our gifts, and the essence of who we are as teachers and beings on this path of Light and Oneness.
Connecting to the essence of the true teacher within, we are able to integrate the wisdom of our own yoga with the deep wisdom of Ayurveda, Native American earth medicine,, subtle energy systems and other healing practices of the world. Exploring Ancient Wisdom traditions and deepening our understanding of the timeline of Yoga as we study the philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads, and Tantra providing us the tools and understandings for us as teachers to weave together authentically inspired intentions and themes into our practice and into our classes.
Upper World - Yoga of Sound; Nada Yoga, Mantra & Deep Listening, Bhakti Bliss & Yoga Nidra
Uncover your heart’s true voice through ancient and modern practices of Bhakti (the Yoga of devotion) with ceremonies of sacred song, Kirtan, Bhajan and Mantra practice.
Learn to introduce musical themes to classes and invigorate your own understanding with the science and philosophy of Nada Yoga —the Yoga of inner and outer Sound. Through the art of deep listening we come to awaken a profound presence.
Refresh your understanding of consciousness and meditation in the lessons of Nidra—the Yoga of sleep and deep relaxation as we equip our tool-bags with a therapeutic and healing gem.
In this cycle we will encourage you to find your unique creative expression using sound, mantra and mystical poetry, the power of our word and creative process as you enhance your teaching and offerings with the wisdom and freedom of expression and emotional integrity to better serve yourself and your community.
