Creative Liberation through Yoga

Join us for a unique 5 day retreat dedicated to awakening your creative essence! Born as creative beings, our impulses are over time cut short by societal and familial restrictions. During this retreat, we will seek to recognize what blocks us to accessing our imagination, and the infinite possibilities it holds.

We will then use yoga asana, plant and sweat lodge ceremonies, and various journaling and creativity activities to connect with the true creative nature that already exists within us. Allow yourself the space to delve into that connection and manifest your bliss for this new year!

Featuring a special surprise musical guest for the Chakra Dance and soundscapes for yoga asana.

What you'll get:
A better understanding of how to access and apply your creativity
Strategies and tools including Yoga asana to overcome your creative blockages
A clear vision of what you'll manifest for yourself in the coming year

Together we are exploring the chakra energetic centers in the body and the way they relate to our expressions of creativity. We will share our vision of the Complex relationships between yoga philosophy and the cutting-edge science seeking to comprehend our creative nature. Our investigations suggest that each chakra corresponds to a fundamental element of creativity. when balanced through yoga asana and meditation practice they provide a valuable key to unleashing our potential to create.

During this profound journey we express our deep respect and thanks to the land that hosts us and the millennial Mayan wisdom that originated in this very spot. For that reason we will be working with local spiritual guides, sharing traditional ceremonial fire ceremonies and giving participants the opportunity to engage with them in one-on-one sessions to explore their own unique relationship to the Mayan calendar.

Creativity is deeply personal, yet it is through relationships that we can gain perspective on our own journey while inspiring the courage necessary to take the necessary risks that lead to our full potential. This is why we focus on providing an open space for personal exploration while at the same time giving support through facilitated reflections and relationship building within the group.

In January 2015 this offering attracted a full group of creative people seeking to explore and access their creativity as they visioned and manifested their dreams for the coming year.

The participants included talents and personalities across the continuum, from professional musicians seeking fresh inspiration to frustrated marketing executives looking to express their creative nature more fully.
