Getting in Touch

The Yoga Forest is located in San Marcos la Laguna, Sololá, in the western highlands of Guatemala. A small Mayan village, San Marcos has become a Mecca for international travelers attracted by its beauty, tranquility and diverse options for spiritual exploration and therapy.

Twenty five minutes venture up into the valley from Lake Atitlán, The Yoga Forest is set back from the town to create a unique retreat space conducive to growth and learning. See our Getting Here page for information on how to find the Forest!


Daily Drop in Classes (Q50) - 7am Hatha/Vinyasa yoga - 4pm Restorative yoga

Weekly Offerings -  Tuesdays 10.30am Kirtan (donation), Thursdays 2pm Sound Bath (Q70) ,Sunday 10.30am Temple Dance (Q50)

Drop ins welcome! Enjoy a yoga class or meal* with us for Q50, and spend time in our spectacular space. We also offer a 5 class pass for Q200 and a 10 class pass for Q350!!!

Please, note, we do not allow unaccompanied people to walk around the property to protect the intimate, safe retreat space we have created for the guests staying with us, but you are welcome to join us for a class or meal, tour, kirtan or ecstatic dance. Once we have met you, if we have time and staff available, we may be able to show you around, or will invite you back for a full tour on Thursdays!

*If you plan to stay for meal, please let us know ahead of time using the contact form below (especially if more than two people), or please announce to the forest staff before entering the yoga class, so we can inform the kitchen! Our forest guests and staff will be served first, and drop ins are welcomed afterwards to join us for meals!

To find the Forest - Follow the painted flowers along the stony mountain paths up the valley to our gate! We do not offer an escort service for drop ins, sorry! But you can ask a local kid/guide from the town center to escort you if your dropping in for a class or meal for around Q10-20 (remember to negotiate your price first!).
